Mystery Guest Set to Light Up the BAFTAs

Light-up gown by Rebecca Street & Seeper for BAFTA TV Awards 2015 | Source: House of Fraser

A mystery celeb is set to wear this technologically enhanced gown to Sunday's British Academy Television Awards. The dress has been commissioned exclusively by House of Fraser (created by fashion designer, Rebecca Street and pioneering technology studio, Seeper) to celebrate its first year as title sponsor.

"Using multiple sensors attached around the body, a dynamic system of raw data is captured and then analysed to mirror the motions and gestures of the wearer which in turn drives the graphics rendering. More gown than gadget, the dress plays on the natural motion and flow of the female form with LED light illumination for maximum impact." (House of Fraser)

In collaboration with some of the most prestigious international designers including Alexander McQueen, Giles Deacon, Matthew Williamson, Mulberry, Mary Katrantzou, Richard Nicoll & Sophie Hulme, Rebecca has helped to deliver spectacular high-end catwalk collections to the luxury fashion market. Rebecca 's own-label designs have been sold by some of the UK’s leading retailers; HarrodsLibertyBrowns, and Browns Bride

Having also measured, cut/made for & fitted a host of stars (including Kate Moss, Kirsten Dunst, Keira Knightly and Naomi Campbell) Rebecca Street is no newbie when it comes to dressing celebrities either. TheTechStylist.com has heard a few whisperings in the industry as to who might be wearing the dress too...

Who do you think the mystery wearer will be?
