Available to the public later this year, the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 trainers have a clever little trick in their heels. When the sensor is hit by the foot, the laces automatically tighten. There are also two buttons on the side to tighten and loosen the laces manually if need be.
As well as looking pretty awesome, the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 trainer's primary purpose is performance. The technology will enable athletes to optimise their performance by reducing a multitude of lace-related distractions: pressure, comfort, safety etc. However, we're betting that they'll also be on the feet of many stylish folk come fall.
The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 will be available ONLY to members of Nike+ beginning Xmas 2016 in three colors. To become a Nike+ member and sign up for notifications about the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0, go to Nike.com.
