The Apple Watch Alternative for Fashionistas?

When I first laid eyes on the MICA, or My Intelligent Communication Accessory, by Opening Ceremony & Intel, I could not believe my eyes! Made with an 18k gold coating, one style features black water snake skin, pearls from China, and Lapis stones from Madagascar, while the other style features white water snake skin, tiger's eye from South Africa, and Obsidian from Russia. On its own, the cuff is beautiful, which justifies Intel's tagline “when beauty meets intelligence.” The features which MICA boasts are actually useful too...

Running independently from your iPhone, MICA delivers discreet text messages, Gmail VIP notifications, Facebook calendar alerts, Yelp recommendations, and even a "Time to Go" feature that sends smart appointment reminders based on location.” (OpeningCeremony.us)

I was reading an article the other day, highlighting the importance of mobile etiquette in meetings, which I think is super important. I think that MICA is ideal for any young, stylish professional who respects meeting etiquette; you can discreetly receive your most important notifications, without making your client feel less important by having your phone on the table.

The smart cuff was launched exclusively at OpeningCeremony.us and Barneys.com in January 2015 (RRP $495); my only question is, when will it be released in the UK?!
