Knomo, the tech accessory brand, has collaborated with Copenhagen-based technology blogger, radio broadcaster and TV host Christiane Vejlø, to bring us the Elektronista Digital Clutch. The Elektronista blogger approached Knomo on her own initiative after having difficulty finding a stylish clutch that could accommodate all of her gadgets; a common problem for many young professionals.
The result of a year and of research and development is a digital clutch bag that features a 3000mAh battery, with a micro-USB charging cable, to ensure you're never stuck with dead devices (any USB charger - Apple, Android or any other charging cable - can be connected to the battery). The Elektronista Digital Clutch is extremely versatile, with the ability to carry 10" or 8" tablets (even within their existing cases), smartphones, credit cards, coins, make up and any other loose items.
The clutch is made from large pieces of full grain leather with gold-tone hardware, with a detachable gold chain strap: transforming the clutch into a over-the-shoulder bag. The clutch also opens out flat to reveal all the compartments and pockets; allowing immediate access to your digital essentials.
Elektronista has definitely hit the nail on its head with this clutch by answering the wishes of many young professionals such as myself working in fashion. If you ask me, I don't think there will be much competition when Elektronista comes up against the anticipated Everpurse x Kate Spade charging bags, when it comes to functionality at least; Vejlø has considered the design so meticulously. However, we'll have to wait until Autumn 2015 when the Everpurse x Kate Spade range is launched to confirm that observation!
The clutch would work perfectly in conjunction with wearables such as MICA, Ringly or the Kovert Altruis by alerting you of important calls/emails, with the clutch allowing you to quickly access your phone/tablet. With products such as these being such a huge growth area in the market, with countless new Kickstarter projects emerging constantly, our life will soon be so seamlessly optimised which is something that I crave with having so much digital clutter.
